Susan Cowsill, joined by her husband Russ Broussard, will be the special performer at Enoch's Friday for Doyle Jeter's 60th birthday.

Enoch's welcomes Susan Cowsill for a special performance Friday to celebrate Enoch Doyle Jeter’s 60th birthday.

Cowsill, of the 1960’s band The Cowsills, is one of America’s premier singer-songwriters and still performs in Cowsills’ reunions. She is also a member of The Continental Drifters, which features Vicki Peterson of The Bangles and guests such as Jackson Browne.

Cowsill and her husband Russ Broussard, were featured last season on HBO’s “Treme” as performers and songwriters.

When Jeter made up a short list of who he would like to perform for his 60th birthday celebration, Cowsill topped the list.

“I am thrilled to have Susan and Russ return to Enoch’s for this special show. Surprise guest will include performers by some of the region’s most talented musicians. A night of Cajun, Country, Rock, folk and Irish jigs are just the ticket for a 60th birthday party,” Jeter said.

Show time is 8 p.m. and seating is limited. There will be an admission at the door.
