The Cowsills and Crescenta Valley have their similarities. Both labor in relative anonymity - the Cowsills were a pretty wholesome act in the turbulent "60s; Crescenta Valley has been an also-ran behind the likes of Muir. Pasadena and Arcadia, even though they came within a game of sharing the Pacific League title last season.
