North Ends scored three runs in the first on Greg Broskie's double and Bob Cowsill's single in their game against Liggetts. Fro the winners, Broskie ahd a double and single and Lloyd welbust and Cowsill a single each. Don Bonville smashed a double and Paul Reynolds two singles for Liggetts.
Cowsill was the winning pitcher allowing five hits, whiffing eight and walking two. Bonville hurled a four-hitter for Liggetts, striking out 10 and walking two.
