Music videos now a main attraction

Everywhere we look this summer, we're running into music videos.

Nasatir’s claim to fame was breaking The Cowsills internationally with a $3,500 film clip for “The Rain, The Park and Other Things.” That budget is chicken feed by today’s standards, in which an average performance-style clip costs between $20,000 and $60,000, and a super-duper “mini-movie” epic with location shooting, dancing girls, animation, and electronic processing runs $80,000 to $200,000 plus.
