Scoring seven runs in the second inning, Middletown High's freshman baseball team defeated Portsmouth Priory School's junior varsity, 10-3, yesterday at Portsmouth.

Mike Cannarozzi belted three hits and Paul Cowsill rapped two singles for Middletown.
Middletown clinched its fourth straight win in the second inning. Cannorozzi opened with a single and later doubled. Dave Jordan stroked a three-run double and Cowsill and Hall had singles.
