New Magazine Converts Into Giant Poster
February 9, 1968
The News
Van Nuys, California

Called “Groove-Out” the magazine contains a sing sheet of paper that opens into a poster-sized, full-color portrait of Davy Jones of the Monkees.

It is removed from inside an oversized cover by means of a perforation edge, the first publication to use this device for poster purposes. The same sheet also features, on the reverse side, photos and features about current teen favorites.

The magazine is now on sale. The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Cowsills, Doors and Bee Gees also are featured.
