A former Los Angeles Valley College student body president has publicaly revealed the names of seven instructors he alleges gave him grades and credits for classes he never or rarely attended.

Richard Cowsill, 31, who announced the names Wednesday, demanded an investigation into his charges last fall.

A college probe, announced this month, upheld two of Cowsill's allegations, but could not substantiate the others.

The former student was warned by the Los Angeles Community College District Board of Trustees that he was violating the state Education Code protecting the privacy of faculty members.

Cowsill is a declared candidate for a board seat being vacated.
