Start your News Years Eve early with a very special episode of Music Works, the defiantly Canadian music series shot right here in Ottawa. Tune in to CBC Television on Friday, December 31st at 4 pm to see a retrospective of the last ten years- plus a special guest appearance of Canada's hottest band, the Juno award winning Billy Talent.
Music Works celebrates its 10th anniversary with performances by some of Canada's best musical artists, including Treble Charger, jacksoul, Simple Plan, Damhnait Doyle, Rheostatics, Kazzer, soulDecision and the legendary Billy Cowsill. This special show also features Alanis Morissette reminiscing about her hosting days on Music Works, as well as flashback clips of memorable musical moments, including a cameo appearance from Tom Green.
This very special 10th anniversary show is hosted by Pat Mastroianni - this year's Top 10 Finalist in the Gemini's Viewer Choice award.Music Works is produced and directed by Adele Cardamone in Ottawa.
