. . . and the beautiful and sad-stroked Southern soundscapes painted by New Orleans artist Susan Cowsill, who lost her brother, her house and belongings in Katrina.
That Cowsill was there sweetly singing only two weeks after her brother's body was identified was one of the strongest things I've seen and heard in a long time.
