America's foremost musical family, the Cowsills, are scheduled to appear in Dallas at the State Fair Music Hall on Valentine's Day, Saturday, Feb. 14.
Barbara Cowsill, perhaps the only "singing mother" in the country today said, "We are delighted to come back to Dallas, The kids and Bud (father) and I had such a wonderful time working the State Fair of Texas and the Youth Against Drugs rally in Garland, we just fell in love with Dallas."
Unique among contemporary groups, the Cowsills are a family managed by "Dad" Bud Cowsill, a retired Navy Chief. The group includes "Mom" Barbara and the children, Bob, Bill, Barry, John, Paul and Susan. The family is widely known for hit recordings as well as appearances on national network television in their own special, and as guests on such shows as the Kraft Music Hall.
Choice seats are still available for the 8 p.m. performance at the State Fair Music Hall. Prices range from $3.50, $4.50, $5.50 and $6.50.
