Singalong
February 10, 1968 Liverpool Echo Liverpool, England
THE COWSILLS (MGM) are one of many comparatively new American singing units for whom British chart success had been delayed. Perhaps the gap between the types of pop appreciated here and on the far side of the Atlantic has widened.
"We Can Fly" is sing-along stuff dressed up in a most elaborate vocal arrangement which has The Cowsills soaring over one another with amazing speed and flexibility. I know the deejays will give this plenty of programme time. I know their listeners will be pleased. I'm not so sure that people will buy the actual record.
