The Cowsills, an internationally known MGM recording group, will present a 2-hour concert in the Westmar gym at 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15.
The concert by the Cowsills is one of a series of big name entertainment events sponsored by the Associated Students of Westmar college.
The Cowsills have recorded six albums for MGM.
Among their television appearances have been those on the Ed Sullivan, Johnny Carson, Merv Griffin, Mike Douglas, Jonathan Winters, Johnny Cash and Dick Cavett shows, Kraft Music hall, Hollywood Palace, “The Wonderful World of Pizazz,” a NBC special and “A Family Thing,” a Timex special starring the Cowsills.
Keith Sheffield, ASWC social committee chairman, says advance tickets are available at the office of Thomas S. Stone, dean of students and will be available at several locations in downtown LeMars, to be announced later.
