Cowsill Singer Given Drug Case Probation

NEWPORT, R.I. – Richard Cowsill, a member of the Cowsills singing family, has been sentenced to a years probation on a narcotics charge, with concurrent probation terms of one year on charges of possessing stolen goods and driving a car without the consent of the owner. Cowsill, 22, former road manager for the singing group, was arrested last Oct 25 at an apartment here along with Pamela L. Wendur, 20, of Newport.
