Sing a tune, prevent fungus in garden cleanup

. . .

While temperatures outdoors remain brisk yet tolerable, I'll continue cleaning my flower borders. There will be no putting off for tomorrow what I can do today. Furthermore, as I clean, I'll continue singing "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" Then, early next spring, while others are cleaning their borders, I'll be singing a different tune, also from the '60s: "The Rain, the Park and Other Things" by the Cowsills.

"I saw her sitting in the rain
"Raindrops falling on her
"She didn't seem to care
"She sat there and smiled at me
"Then I knew (I knew...I knew...I knew)
"She could make me happy (happy...happy)
"Flowers in her hair (in her hair)
"Flowers everywhere (everywhere),"

In the end, I remain content with the season's change. Hmmm, now there's another tune, but enough for now.
