Ice Carnival and men's bonspiel combine for successful weekend

The Alonsa Rink was a buzz of activity on March 11 with the Alonsa Ice Carnival combined with the men's open bonspiel.
The day began with a free pancake breakfast serving more than 100 people. The costume parade was great with the children in costumes. The audience was entertained by two air bands, the Cowsills and Beach Boys who put on great performances. The puck shoot and children's races on the ice were enjoyed by all who participated.
