Twin cities band "Les Izmoore and Friends" will be performing in Hudson Thursday, Aug. 23 as the featured act and final installment in this summer's "Concerts in the Park" series. This all-ages event is free and the public is encouraged to come out for what promises to be a great time.

Les Izmoore began their career as a "power trio," featuring Nick Hall on guitar and Hudsonites

Brian Beauchamp and Mike Brueske on drums and electric bass. Today the band has expanded to six multi-instrumentalists and singers including the original members, plus keyboard wizard Phil Kadidlo, and vocalists Robin Cain and Carol "Z."

"Les Izmoore has the vocal and musical chops to cover almost any musical style from the 1950's through the 1990's, but if we had to pick a favorite decade, it would definitely be the 70's," said bass player Brueske.

The set list for this show features songs from The Cowsills, The Doobie Brothers, Three Dog Night, The Beatles, Mamas and Papas, not to mention Fleetwood Mac, The BeeGees, Steely Dan and The Zombies.
