WMCA Good Guys Hold Conference
March 15, 1968

Brooklyn, New York

On Tuesday January 23, I attended a press conference given by the WMCA GOOD GUYS. Many students from high schools in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut also attended. In case you don't know who the GOOD GUYS are, they are: Joe O'Brien, Harry Harrison, Jack Spector, Dan Daniel, Dean Anthony, and Gary Stevens.

. . .

Do you enjoy being an M.C. at concerts?

Joe: In some places it's a pleasure. We enjoyed doing the Cowsills concert because the Cowsills are such a great family and also because the Town Hall is a small place.

. . .

Who are your favorite new groups?

Joe: The Union Gap and the Cowsills

Dean: The Cowsills

Gary: The Stone Ponies

Joe: The Cowsills made a record about two years ago and it almost made it. Now they've really made it big with two singles "The Rain, The Park and Other Things" and "We Can Fly" and two albums. This week, their second album called "We Can Fly" is our Album of Orbit. Bill and Bob Cowsill write most of their songs.
