Hootie blows fans out of the harbor by Mityoko Ohtake, News music Reviewer July 25, 2005 Buffalo News Buffalo, New York
Keep those concessions that are allowing these concerts to be free, because Buffalo audiences are getting a summer full of incredible, free music shows. After a crowd-pleasing show by moe. on Friday, Day 2 of Buffalo Place Rocks the Harbor at Erie Basin Marina featured the mid-'90s hit band Hootie and the Blowfish.
The show started Saturday with the last-minute addition Susan Cowsill of the Cowsill musical family and the Continental Drifters. Being "old friends" with Hootie and the Blowfish, Cowsill was personally invited to open the show and played songs from her debut solo CD, "Just Believe It," including the title track and "Nanny's Song."
