Talk about full circle. I've officially entered America's fogie-wannabe-cool scene with my purchase of a sleek, almost microscopic toy called an iPod shuffle.

I remembered that's what I paid for the 45 rpm records more than 40 years ago at Purselley's radio and TV on the north side of the square. Yep, I'd blow my allowance on a S1 record every Friday afternoon after school.
Who were the artists? You might laugh. The Beatles, Beach Boys, The Monkees, Herman's Hermits, Cowsills, Strawberry Alarm Clock.
