The other things were Cornrow Arroyo getting shucked something awful. Arroyo hadn’t lost since Aug. 15, but he was pounded for six runs in two innings, and the truth is he and Theo Epstein would have had more success Saturday night if they picked up their guitars and backed up the Cowsills.
