Parading Shriners, majorettes, fireworks, country music, family entertainment, rides, games, dare-devil automobile drivers, the world's smartest dog, an art festival, a photographic competition, horse shows, a horse-pulling contest, quarter horses and the largest exhibition of livestock ever assembled in PG County. Put it all together and still it's only part of the pageantry and culture and glitter which makes up the 1971 Prince Georges County Fair and Showcase opening at Rosecroft Raceway on September 10 for a ten-day run.

Other entertainment includes Hank Snow and Tommy Overstreet for the country and western fans and the Cowsills for the entire family.
