Two more Katrina-related concerts are worthy of mention as September gives way to October:
Susan Cowsill, who's been a featured voice in the Cowsills family act from the 1960s and the Continental Drifters more recently, will bring her solo tour to the Patio, 6308 Guilford Ave., on Oct. 15. Cowsill, a New Orleans resident, lost nearly all of her belongings to floodwaters following Hurricane Katrina. Her debut solo album, "Just Believe It," is scheduled for release Oct. 11.
