The nation’s number one “family” rock group – The Cowsills – will be star attractions again this year at the International Auto Show to be held March 2- in the Convention Center Exhibit Hall.
. . .
The Cowsills, who were so popular at the 1970 show that they have been asked to make a return engagement, will perform nightly from a giant stage at one end of the exhibit hall.
The six-member group took the record business by storm a few years ago and had been riding high on the charters ever since.
The singing combo, made up of Bob, John, Paul, Barry, Susan, and their mother Barbara, is supplemented by the father Bud Cowsill, who manages the group and operates their sound equipment.
Frank A. Bennack Jr., Light publisher, said attendance at the 1971 show is expected to exceed that of last year. More than 30,000 automobile lovers and Cowsill fans turned out in 1970.
