MUNICH (S&S) – The young family singing group – The Cowsills – will make its concert debut in Europe this week.
The former Navy family became a household word with such recordings as “The Rain, The Park and Other Things” and “Indian Lake.”
Bob, Bill, John, Barry, Paul and Susie are the six sibling singers. Mom provides the accompaniment while dad acts a manager-producer, assisted by another son, Dick.
The group is scheduled to appear at Wiesbaden’s Von Steuben Hotel and Rocker NCO Club on Friday; the Ramstein Air Base Officer and NCO clubs, Saturday; Naples’ Flamingo NCO Club and Allied Officer’s Club on Sunday; Ramstein’s Airman’s Club on April 21, and Herzo Army Base on April 22.
Other dates: Spangdahlem Air Base NCO Club, Bitburg Air Base Officer and NCO clubs, Ramstein Airman’s Club, all on April 23; Rhein-Main NCO Club, April 24; Heidelberg’s Patrick Henry Village Officer’s Club and Patch Barracks NCO Club, April 25.
