The Best of the Cowsills follows in a lighter vein. On MGM label, the album is proof that the family that plays together make a bundle, and deservedly. Listeners can pick out such favorites as “The Rain, the Park and Other things,” “In Need of a Friend,” “We Can Fly,” and “Gotta Get Away from It All,” a little something for those in the eight-to-five rut. It is a good recap of Cowsills hits, all available on previous recordings.
