The Cowsills show comes to the Colonie just three years after the group's explosion onto the national music scene. The family released its first album in 1967 and one of the selections "The Rain, The Park and Other Things" was soon heading for its million-record sales mark.

"They were good," says a recording spokesman of the album. "With a name like Cowsills, they had to be good."
