Meanwhile, (Wyckham) Porteous will sonn show up in yet another guise, this time as a member of a brand new band of Canadian music veterans dubbed The Stellar Band of Neighbours. The group – featuring Stephen Drake (The Odds), Kevin Kane (Grapes of Wrath), Del Cowsill (Billy’s son), Johnny Fay (Tragically Hip) and Simon Kendall (Doug & The Slugs) – has just recorded and is getting ready to make its debut on CBC Radio’s s Canada Live on Saturday, Oct. 4.
