Calgary folk festival off to a slow start
July 26, 2002 Edmonton Journal Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Organizers have also laid out a pretty decent lineup of talent …. The Co-Dependents.

On the workshop front, there are a few pairings that will unquestionably ignite some sparks.

Joining Sleepy LaBeef, Robyn Hitchcock and Nick Lowe will be Warren Zevon and Billy Cowsill.
Zevon and Cowsill go back almost 30 years. They did a lot of partying and playing together when Zevon was the Everly Brothers’ band leader and just emerging as a major tunesmith who would become a favorite of starts like Linda Rondstadt.
