The reels on the bus go 'round

The 1957 Chevy school bus driven by the Partridge Family in the 1970s TV show is shown here on a trading card. |
The Partridge Family, ABC (1970-’74): “We had a dream we’d go trav’lin’ together. We’d spread a little lovin’ then we’d keep movin’ on.”
Real-life music act the Partridge Family was based on another rea-life music act, the Cowsills. The TV sitcom featured a ratty old bus with a Piet Mondrian finish and a bumper stick that read, “Caution: Nervous mother driving.”
Teen girls loved David Cassidy. Nobody loved the bus.
