The Sidetrack Café, one of Edmonton’s best-known and longest-running nightclubs, has been sold and will be torn down to make room for condominiums.

The owner of the 500-seat club, which has reputation a one of Canada’s top live entertainment venues, plans to keep the Sidetrack going and is looking at another downtown location.
