For many at the Jubilee, the night belonged to the warm-up act (for John Anderson), veteran performer Billy Cowsill of the late ‘60s group The Cowsill.
Cowsill appeared here late last year with Billy Mitchell’s Trainwereck at the Ambassador Hotel’s glorified tavern, a venue which did not do justice to the impressive singer whose uncanny Elvis and Everly Brothers-styled vocals are nothing short of outstanding.
