Into this sad limelight tonight step K.D. Lang and Billy Cowsill, offbeat talents who are allowed to perform a grand total of two numbers each. Deborah chit chats with K.D. to introduce Cowsill, and later bounds over to the pool table to drag Lang away from her game with Billy to do another number.

K.D. Lang and Billy Cowsill deserve better than County West. They deserve the Canadian equivalent of a forum like Austin City Limits. They deserve to be let loose in a small, natural concert setting with musicians and singers of their own choosing.
