Allison Brock’s tribute to the late Billy Cowsill was met with such an overwhelming response last Saturday on her CKUA program Wide Cut Country that the network is rebroadcasting the special Monday evening.

On very short notice Brock rounded up interviews with Cowsill’s sister Susan, Joe Ely, Cowsill’s former manager Larry Wanagas, Jeffrey Hatcher, who sang with Cowsill in the Blue Shadows, members of The Co-Dependents, and longtime associate and producer Neil MacGonigill.

Cut into the two-hour special is music from all the chapters of Cowsill’s career including a couple of rare bootleg tracks. The heartfelt tribute airs at 8 p.m. on Monday. Billy Cowsill died on Feb. 18 in Calgary at age 58.
