Past performances and solid reputations should lead roots music fans to believe this weekend’s menu of country and blue-grass is tantalizing.

Following Way Out West will be the Calgary component of the night. Bill Cowsill makes his first non-recording studio appearance here in about four years and guitarist, mandolinist and singer Steve Pineo will be on stage with Cowsill knocking off a few originals and more true-blue country fare.
