Too, as you might have expected, the Ed Sullivan show (CBS) was crammed with acts redolent of holly, ivy, mistletoe and the hearty good cheer of the season. Of segments I caught, Arthur Godfrey, Gilbert Price, a resonant singer, and Bobbie Gentry, with the Cowsills, were right in the mood.
