Hearty Good Cheer

Too, as you might have expected, the Ed Sullivan show (CBS) was crammed with acts redolent of holly, ivy, mistletoe and the hearty good cheer of the season. Of the segments I caught, Arthur Godfrey, Gilbert Price, a resonant singer, and Bobbie Gentry, with the Cowsills, were right in the mood.
