There’s something new in folk-rock. The Cowsills, MGM records’ new group, consists of a mother of four sons, aged 11 to 19. Their first album, two weeks-old, is heading for the top of the charts. Elke Sommer hosts a party for them at the Century Plaza next week, prior to their 14-city tour.
