We readily concede a worthwhile thing will happen Thursday at the United Nations when the Creo Society host a 20th anniversary performance of the musical “Hair.” It is worthwhile because it will benefit the U.S. Committee for UNICEF and the Fund for Children With AIDS.

Revolutionary as “Hair” seemed to some folks at the time – they take their clothes off? – musically it was elevator tunes in a rock ‘n’ roll suit. It was no accident the “Hair” hits were recorded by the Cowsills and Fifth Dimension.
