Go-Go Girls Audition at Central Park Mall

Open auditions for amateur and professional dancers will be held by TAJ Enterprises Corporation at the Central Park Mall, 72nd St. and Central Park, next Saturday, April 23rd from 12:30PM to 4:30 PM.

The 66 winners will appear at Soundblast ’66 to be held June 10th, starring the Beach Boys, Mamas and Papas, Stevie Wonder, the McCoys, Jerry Butler and Gene Chandler, the Marvelettes, the Gentrys as well as a new Mercury Record group, the Cowsills, and many more artists to be added, plus a special mystery guest star – the world’s most exciting musical personality (to be announced on May 8th, 1966).

Celebrity Judges and Live Band

Judging the Go-Go dancers will be Parks Commissioner Hoving, who originated the outdoor discotheques in New York parks this summer in which the winners may also participate, radio personalities, Tommy Small of WLIB Radio, jack Spector and Gary Stevens of WMCA, Scott Muni, well- known radio and T.V. personality and Frankie Crocker of WWRL. Tickets for the June 10th show are now on sale at New York Yankee box offices at Grand Central, Port Authority bus terminal and Yankee Stadium. Tickets: $8.50, 6.50, 5.50, 3.50, 2.50.
