Parade Opening State Fair Gets New Downtown Route

The State Fair of Texas Opening Day Parade will wind through Downtown Dallas beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, colorfully announcing the beginning of the 83rd annual Fair.

Also in the parade will be the Cowsills singing group, the Borden Train which will park at the fairgrounds after the parade, a circus wagon, and the 8-horse Belgian Hitch of Owens Sausage.
