With the news that the body of Barry Cowsill, a member of the 1960s pop group the Cowsills, was identified Jan 3 - the New Orleans resident was missing since Hurricane Katrina – at least four Dayton-area residents are among the many fans who signed an online memorial guestbook. Some excerpts from locals: Mary Richards of Dayton posted, “God bless Barry and his family. All of you were a large part of my teen years, and I was fortunate to have met all of you on many occasions. Barry was the clown.” Teresa Eamoe of Mason wrote, “My first concert was at age 12. My mom dropped me off at Memorial Hall in Dayton, Ohio, and I was allowed to go see The Cowsills ALL BY MYSELF!! It was the greatest day of my kid-years.”
