The Rochester Music Hall of Fame class of 2016 will be inducted starting 7 p.m. Sunday at Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre.
Here’s a closer look at the newest members:
James Rado: Raised in Irondequoit, now living in New Jersey, the Grammy and Tony-winning Rado’s Hair virtually invented the Broadway rock musical. His music tribute will include performance by The Cowsills, whose biggest hit was the title song from Hair, and Florence LaRue, lead singer from The Fifth Dimension, which had a huge hit with “Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In,” also from the musical. Two original cast members from Hair, Ula Hedwig and Pepe Castro, will sing “Good Morning Starshine.”
