ESSEX JUNCTION – The Champlain Valley Fair is one half century old and “This year,” says long-time general manager Had Drury “the Fair will celebrate its 50th anniversary with some of the greatest entertainment and more exhibits than the popular Exposition has ever seen.”
The Fair opens Monday, August 30 and will run through September 4.
Two years ago the unique and talented Cowsills thrilled capacity audiences at the Fair and by popular request the Cowsill family will play the grandstand again this year. Two concerts by the four boys, mother Barbara and daughter Susan are scheduled for Friday evening, September 3.
