In five years: “I’d like to have a song I’ve written covered by a major artist, and a really nice album with the band.”
I love playing music: “Because that’s what I was born to do.”
Spinal Tap moment: “I spilled coffee on my white pants on the first Ed Sullivan show I ever did, back in 1967 with The Cowsills. It was live with a 10-second delay so I had no time to change.”
Seeing as how The Partridge Family TV series was based on your first band, The Cowsills, do you ever resent the show?: “Nah. All press is good press, isn’t it?”
Which member of the Partridge Family was most like you?: “I would be Susan Dey.”
