The family that has turned its joyous musical sound into entertainment for the whole country will be one of the top attractions at the International Auto Show this week.
The Cowsills - Barbara, Bob, John, Paul, Barry and Susan, will present three performances each day Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and will have four shows on both Saturday and Sunday.
Barbara is the mother of the other five and they make up one of the most popular singing groups in the country. They first soared to fame in the recording business several years ago, and since have made frequent television and stage appearances. They also have ventured into the television commercial field.
As a family they have several points to their credit. First they are a family that sings, plays, stays together, and still like one another. And as a group they have taken family singing and made it a top pop business.
Much of the credit for their success goes to an important family member seldom seen on stage. His is father manager, Bud Cowsills.
