Student editors in the Corpus Christi area are invited to attend a youth press conference with the Cowsills at 4 p.m. next Wednesday in Memorial Coliseum.
Editors of junior, high school or college publications, or their representatives, will be admitted to the coliseum for a 30-minute interview with the singing family.
The young journalists will be required to present proper identification for admittance to the coliseum main floor area. Then they will be ushered to an area in front of the stage from which the Cowsills will be performing during the Caller-Times' first International Auto Show.
The Cowsills have indicated they are ready to answer any and all questions about their professional and private lives and are anxious to meet with the Corpus Christi school press.
Cosponsored by the Corpus Christi Franchised Automobile Dealers Association, The Caller-Times auto show will be open from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Friday; from noon until 11 p.m. Saturday; and from noon until 9 p.m. Sunday. The Cowsills will present three one-half hour shows each weekday night and four shows each on Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets, priced at $1.50 for adults and 50 cents for children, 12-years-olds and under, will be on sale at the door on show nights.
