. . . . The delights of this collection are too numerous to recount in a short review: Tom Russell's in-the-moment spell-spinning on "A Little Wind (Could Blow Me Away)," Susan Cowsill's Joplinesque whiskey-and-lace reading of "Honeychild," Maura O'Connell's contemplative "Blue Distance," the Kennedys' engagingly jangly "Great Big World." Case himself appears at the end of disc 3, in a live version of "Beyond the Blues." His straightforward troubadour sound -- embellished with the occasional yodel -- is appealing, but it's the full compilation that makes the case for itself, over and over.
