Ten groups of musicians will
present a two-and-one-half hour
"spectacular" featuring a variety
of musical acts including
folk singing, rock-and-roll
bands, and western songsters,
at the Annual Picnic and Field
Day sponsored by St Elizabeth's
Church
The event is slated to be held
this Sunday and the entertainment
will begin at 3 p m. following
a full agenda of activities
held throughout the day
All activity will be at Rego's
Pavilion.
Headlining the talent signed
to entertain, are the Cowsill
Family who have made appearances
in this town and state
and nave won the praise of many
noted citizens.
Sue Andrea and her "Swinging
Folk Singing Trio" will be
featured along with "Catchy"
Carol Ketchie and Linda Boutelle
presenting a few folk interpretations.
Portsmouth notables, Elizabeth
Shaw and Larry Boulin
will be in attendance Calraye
and the Class-Airs will present
a memorable appearance and
-will be followed by Edward
Sousa and group, western song
enthusiasts.
Mary Martins will be accompanied
by Bob Morra on stage
and after Mary leaves. Bob is
slated to put on his own show
Doug Botelho and group will
pick up the rhythm and the ever-
popular "Shandells" will also
perform.
