Young and Old Gather At The Hatch Memorial Shell To Hear The Cowsills
|
And what more appropriate group to entertain visitors to the opening of festivities that the Cowsills?
The quasi-rock family group performed at the Hatch Memorial Shell on the Charles River before a horde of sun-bathers, strollers and screaming school girls, estimated by MDC Sgt. Edward Hunter to be in excess of 20,000 people.
The concert was part of a week-long festival in which almost everything happening in the area of Boston Common will be cow-oriented.
