I recently saw the Cowsills on the Johnny Cash Show. Could you give some information about them, and where I could write to them? Jackie DePree, Lake View. Will they appear in Buffalo this summer? Pam. K.
The group includes Bill, 21; Bob, 19, the guitarist; Barry, 14; John, 13, and Susie, 9, who with Mama Barbara Cowsill comprise the nucleus of the group. Dick, 17, and Paul, Bob's twin, who chose not to be performers, keep the equipment in order on their tours. Papa Bud Cowsill coordinates the group's activities. Two older boys are college students. When not on the road, they live in a 22-room house in Newport, R.I. Write them care of their personal manager, Leonard Stogel, 888 Eighth Ave., New York 10019. We haven't heard they are coming to Buffalo.
